[chi] ...that's with the 'ch' as in Scottish loch, and the i is pronounced 'ee'. The Greek letter is χ. Chi (X) & Xi are two different letters, so the above answer is incorrect. There are variations of the pronunciation. You can say it as you would "key" with a little more "ch" in the k, like "khee." You can also add a "z" sound to it.
