The Type 92 was a parachute that was used by Japan during WWII. It had a similar makeup to that of the Type 97 Parachute which had been designed for use with fighter pilots. In the center of the chute was a metal quick release switch which connected to the web of green harnesses stretching around the user. The Type 92 also had an auxiliary parachute.
