The Battle of Verocinighi was fought between the Galactic Republic and the CSI over control of the uranium mines of Verocinighi. The Battle was so intense, that the Veroocci Mountains were flattened, and almost all the Veroci were killed, thus giving the name the more common named: Veroci Holocaust.
