Simplicity 3044; ca. 1949 or 1950; Teen-Age Jacket Topper and Beret: The kimono-sleeved jacket, styled with a wide, turn-down collar, has fullness released from a deep pleat in the back. A front button closing is featured and cuffs edge the long sleeves. A lining is optional. Style 1, the Topper, has two flap-trimmed pockets at the lower edge. A tie belt cinches the waistline. Style 2, the short jacket, has buttons accenting the back seam. Style 3 jacket has flap-trimmed pockets and matching flaps are repeated below the shoulder. The beret is cut in four sections.
