Several video games have been produced, based on Judge Dredd. In 1987, Beam Software developed the first Judge Dredd video game, published by Melbourne House in the UK. It was not critically well received.[1] Later in 1987, UK publisher Pirannah were to release Judge Death on the ZX Spectrum and Commodore 64. The company went out of business before it was released. It was to be an Operation Wolf-style first-person shooter featuring Judge Anderson, judging by screenshots available in previews.[2] In 2012, Judge Dredd vs. Zombies, a mobile game app, was released.
