An Ironic Martyr is someone who matyrs themselves ironically (and usually metaphorically, too) -- like someone who bombs an abortion clinic to support the pro-life cause. These individuals typically make good Discordian Saints. However, they are typically not considered even mildly Discordian until after they are martyrs, ironically.
