Miraak's underground name when working for the World Government was "Black Cat" because of the misfortune that lies in his wake. He always said to his target "I have come to deliver some bad luck" before killing them and he always completes a mission with 100% accuracy, without remorse. This is a side that Monkey D. Dragon admired about him which eventually led him to inviting him to join the Revolutionary Army. Miraak´s demeanor was very cool, bordering nonchalant and almost detached until he met his mentor Ashikage Souji, who was a Samurai who lived life as he wanted to. He then began to reveal a much warmer and more human side of himself.
