This rite serves as a simpler way to summon spirits while in the Umbra, but only spirits that can guide the summoner to a location. The spirits summoned with this rite will not teach the character anything or assist in the usual ways, but can be asked to help find a place, person or item within the Umbra. If the object is too far away, the spirit will simply provide information, or perhaps nothing at all. This Rite is often used as a stepping stone to learning the greater Summoning Rite, and is often performed through specialized dance and chant.
