Julio Scalini is the New York Mafia Godfather appearing in "Revenge of the Pink Panther". French Connection boss Douvier believes he has rubbed out Clouseau, and is hoping to be rewarded for it. The climax of the film occurs with Scalini and Douvier meeting in Hong Kong, where Clouseau travels to intercept their meeting, posing as Scalini (with a comical, over-the-top Godfather disguise prepared for him by the inimitable Balls. Scalini is shown to be a quiet, aged man. During the final battle at the docks he is overthrown using fireworks and arrested. The next two films feature the Mafia trying to get revenge.
