The Gorshkov (K-115) was a Delta IV class nuclear submarine commissioned by the Russian Navy. Armed with nuclear weapons, the Gorshkov released its payload on Alaska in response to a seemingly unprovoked attack on Russia by the United States (in reality, Skynet's global attack against Humanity). It survived Judgment Day; however, shortly after the creation of the Resistance, the Gorshkov was destroyed by Skynet's attack while rescuing the USS Wilmington.
