The Torrantine Catacombs (Japanese: たからのいわあな Treasure Cavern) are a series of underground passages found throughout the Torran region. This area is based on The Underground of Generation IV and includes many of the same features; however, it is more closely integrated into normal gameplay than the Underground, featuring wild Pokémon and Trainer battles in addition to treasure mining and Secret Bases. There are four main catacombs that can be accessed from different parts of Torran; in addition, they can all be accessed from the underground town of Nocterra.
