Oliver the Little Western is another Great Western Engine, like Duck in Thomas the Tank Engine & Friends. He also works on Duck's Branch Line, the "Little Western". He and his brakevan Toad were saved from scrap by Douglas, and both work on Sodor. Everyone had given him great and positive comments, which went through his head and made him crash into the turntable well. After that, Oliver learned to behave like a good role model and caused a truck named Scruffey (the leader of the Troublesome Trucks) to fall into pieces. Oliver has had very grand adventures on the island ever since.
