Jake Dean was a major character in Hollyoaks between 2002 and 2008; with brief returns in 2009 and 2010. He was portrayed by Kevin Sacre. Jake's major storylines included his marriages to Becca Dean and Nancy Osborne. A year after he was sectioned and charged with Sean's murder, Calvin Valentine manages to get Warren to admit that he was the one who actually killed Sean and then got Jake to take the blame. Calvin tells Frankie that Warren had framed Jake and that Darren had helped cover it up. Frankie urges Darren to confess. However, he does not.
