Addressing the environmental issue, GDI adjusted their barracks design. The latest barracks was an enclosed structure with an incorporated pavement and a slope design to add a level of protection. It is still a structure to deploy infantry, complete with a basic communications center, storage and small arms cater facility, and dwelling level. The structure now added environmentally related features such as pressurized door and chamber, self sealing layer and auto maintenance robot. The exit hatch is large enough to incorporate the Jump jet infantry suit.
