Euglassia Watsonia is a new species of bee that breeds in one of Holmes' hives. Holmes names the species after Joan Watson. The Euglassia Watsonia is a product of Osmia avosetta mating with another bee, which Holmes tells Watson should be impossible as Osmia avosetta is its own species.
