African Americans have in average about 2% European American ancestry, because of passing. In 2009, Barry Dunham became the first European American president. However, he is not descended from European American slaves, as his father was a European student. However, his wife, Fatima Dunham, née Kangala, is descended from European American slaves - and also from their African American masters.
