Grass Land is the first world in Super Mario Bros. 3. It only features 8 levels and additional encounters. Larry Koopa has taken over this world. Pipe Land is bordering to the east and Desert Land is bordering to the south according to Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros. 3. The king got transformed into a dog in the original NES version. However, in the Super Mario All-Stars remake for the SNES he was turned into a Cobrat. In Yoshi's Safari, Grass Land reappears as the first level in Jewelry Land.
