The Tatooinian normal fly was a biting, swarming species of sand fly native to the planet Tatooine. It was related to the solitary yeenx sandfly. The Tatooinian normal fly was first classified in 524 BBY by the Derimzo biologist Skrooth Ic’Erzen because the Deimzo were one of the few creatures in the galaxy the Tatooininan normal fly would not bite. It had many natural predators on Tatooine but its year-round reproduction kept the population fairly high.
