Coldkill is an exceptional unique Hatchet from Diablo II: Lord of Destruction. Like its name implies, Coldkill has a large affinity for Cold, bestowing bonuses to both Cold Resist and adding a sizable amount of Cold Damage. Although not as effective against enemies that are immune to Cold, it is useful for its ability to slow enemies; however, this also makes it less effective in Nightmare and Hell difficulties, where enemy slow durations are shorter. Higher level players may want to use Nord's Tenderizer, a unique Truncheon with similar cold-related attributes.
