Kanden's place of origin is stated in the Metroid Prime Hunters introduction to be A Sinister Laboratory. The laboratory is the place where Kanden received his powerful genetic enhancements, such as his Stinglarva form; however, little else is known about it, as it was destroyed by Kanden shortly before he escaped.
