Elbert J. "Al" Butler (July 9, 1938 in Rochester, New York – July 12, 2000 of cancer) was an American Basketball player. He played collegiality for the Niagara University. He was selected by the Boston Celtics in the 2nd round (17th pick overall) of the 1961 NBA Draft. He played for the Celtics (1961), New York Knicks (1962-64) and Baltimore Bullets (1964-65) in the NBA for 234 games.
