A human from the Ice People of the Panak Desert in Northern Hosk of Taladas, Ishknut is a ranger known through out most of Northern Hosk for his skills as well as his unusual traveling companions, Tolaqua the Ogre and the goblin twins Phrycc and Phracc. He is a wanderer and explorer, but has only been to one town (and didn't like it), cannot read or write (but speaks most languages in Northern Hosk), he has no interest in anything "civilized", and dislikes being underground. His favored enemy is the thanoi, but has little love for any evil creature. Ishknut is friendly and seemingly trusting, but always has an escape plan in mind.
