Rochinda was a Vedran master sage in the field of theoretical astrophysics. He is well known as the pioneer who lead the team of researchers that discovered the existence of the Slipstream some 112 years before the formation of the Vedran Empire in CY 0. The All Systems University notes that while Rochinda foresaw the slipstream as a vehicle of peaceful exploration and colonization, it was not until CY 4279 that the Vedran Empire evolved and matured into the Systems Commonwealth.
