The Frostkeep Iron Mine is a richly veined mine just north of Frostkeep. It has been the town's major source of income and employment since it's founding almost 300 years ago. Elementals have always been a problem for the mines, and even now many parts of the system of natural tunnels and caves remain dangerous.
