The company operated through five segments (2007 onwards): Thomson Financial, Thomson Healthcare, Thomson Legal, Thomson Scientific, and Thomson Tax & Accounting. Thomson's stock was listed on the New York Stock Exchange (since June 2002) and Toronto Stock Exchanges (ticker symbol TOC), with headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut.
