Cronau radiation was a type of radiation emitted by starships upon jumping into hyperspace. The Imperial-class Star Destroyers of the Galactic Empire were equipped with sensors that could detect Cronau radiations, thus enabling their crews to detail instances of vessels entering hyperspace.
