The Defence QC led Clayton Hibbs's case at his trial in October 2016 for the murder of Kylie Platt. When witness Craig Tinker was on the stand she tried to downplay what he had seen, stating that it was a normal teenage altercation and gained an admission from him that he made no effort to call the police, with Craig unable to admit to the court that he had actually taken no action as he was frozen with fear at the time.
