The Luminoth Distress Signal Thought Cluster is a message depicted in Metroid Prime 2: Echoes concept art, with an image of sixteen Luminoth holograms. All of these correspond to holograms depicted on Luminoth Lore Projectors for individual Luminoth Lore entries (with the exception of the word "Temple," which appears only on a Translator Door). Although the meaning of the distress signal has never been officially explained, a likely explanation is as follows: by starting from the rightmost symbol and reading to the left, a rough timeline of the Luminoth's history is given. Each "branch" elaborates on a single subject in this history.
