C'rion was Weyrleader of Ista at the time of the Dragons' Plague. His weyrmate was Dalia He was concerned that D'gan would not be ready when Thread returned. C'rion had offered M'tal to trade J'trel for one of his new eggs. C'rion died during a Threadfall over Nerat. A large clump of Thread falls on C'rion and his Nidanth, tearing holes in Nidanth's inner wings and backs, and scouring C'rion's back. They go between, and fail to return.
