The Shuttle 1701-D is a shuttle (from the Enterprise (1701-D)) piloted by a guy wearing a Delco Air Filter on his face and parked it in the SCS DeepShip 86 shuttlebay. Inside there is a rag with the motto "My father was betrayed at Khitomer and all I got is this lousy t-shirt". These shuttles replaced the aging Galileo shuttlecraft from an earlier Enterprise. One of the older shuttles was seen parked at the Rocket Bar in Space Quest 1 VGA.
