Scorch appears as an enemy ability exclusive to Rubicante from the Dawn of Souls remake and onward. It inflicts major fire-elemental damage to one party member. From the original NES version to Origins, SCORCH or Scorch was the name given to the enemy ability used by Hellhounds. From Dawn of Souls onward, this ability was renamed to Blaze.
