Anata was a Progeny of the Destroyer, daughter of Kali-Ma, a female avatar of Shiva. Her appearance was very similar to that of her mother, although she could take the guise of a young woman from the Ivory Kingdoms. She was sent to Rokugan by Feydn Rafiq, who betrayed her for his own ends. Anata was eventually killed by a group of samurai investigating the Cult of Ruhmal at the behest of Otomo Banu and on the advice of Feydn Rafiq. It seemed Feydn Rafiq used Anata to expose the Ruhmalists to the Rokugani, which were utterly destroyed, so he could climb in the organization. It eventually led in the Mantis-Ivory Kingdoms War.
