The Agdlek class cutter is a ship class of cutters built for and operated by the Royal Danish Navy for patrol duty in the waters of Greenland and task consists of maritime surveillance, assertion of sovereignty, fisheries inspection, search and rescue, assistance to other ships, environmental monitoring, pollution control, towing, salvage, diving assistance, icebreaking and surveying. Only one vessel of the class, HDMS Tulugaq (Y388), remains active and is expected to continue in service until 2017.
