Maeda was a former Crane Clan who became ronin after he performed a dishonorable act. He was a stoic, weary-looking man who spoke quietly. Maeda moved to Boubi, a ronin village in Naishou province. He became the leader of other five ronin, Takuhito, Oyami, Izumi, Satoru and Tsuruaka, who protected the village from the wave of murders and disappearances in the province. A group of samurai visitors investigated the crimes and exposed a Bloodspeaker cell as the guilty of all the violent events.
