Orlandu catches on quickly, and is rather skeptical as to why he wants to join the Southern Sky, suspecting him of being a spy of sorts. Ramza, however, makes it clear he holds more honor as a Beoulve than his brothers, and has no one else to turn to. Seeing Balbanes in him, Orlandu agrees to take him in as a soldier of the Southern Sky.
