Lakeland College Emergency Training Centre, also known as Fire ETC, is the main firefighter and paramedic training facility in Alberta and an important training centre for all of western Canada. The school was originally established as the Alberta Fire Training School in the 1960s. The affiliation with Lakeland College began in 1998. Fire ETC is located in Vermillion, Alberta.
