Myles was one of the winners of a writing competition held by Big Finish to find new authors. Myles' winning entry, Child's Play, was published in the anthology Short Trips: How the Doctor Changed My Life. She is also the author of the Bernice Summerfield short story The Better Part of Valour, the audio short story Breaking Bubbles, and the short story Silver Mosquitoes. She contributed to the reference book Chicks Dig Time Lords: A Celebration of Doctor Who by the Women Who Love It.
