This summoning creates a gigantic shield or door like barrier between the summoner and the opponent. The gate is capable of stopping almost all forms of attack but despite its power it is not invincible, since it began to crack from Shirou Uchiha Amaterasu, it gives Ryoji enough time to counter attack or think of another jutsu. Together with the Gate of Justice, Gate of Virtue, and Gate of Sacrifice it forms Four Gates Sealing Barrier technique.
