Jeanida Nalloi was a young Jedi Knight. She was visiting the Sabii outpost when it was overrun, and was captured after losing a duel with Sith Neophyte Balor Vane. She was tortured by Darth Kabal in an attempt to turn her to the Dark Side. When she refused, Kabal used the Force to crush her; despite ceasing before she died, the torture robbed her of her sight, permanently damaging her optic nerves. She was rescued by a party of Jedi led by Ember Rekali, and was eventually returned to Ossus, where she would recuperate for a time.
