The Nirai Overcharge decreases the fire rate of a weapon, but increases the damage per shot. It is best used on a ship which has weapons that fire slowly, but do a large amount of damage per shot. So examples of these weapons are the and Scatterguns, but it is not recommended for Blaster or Auto-Cannon type weapons.
