The name of this jutsu comes from the shape of it, as it looks like a small galaxy on Takatsuke's palm. It also strongly resembles Wind Release: Rasenshuriken in it's shape. Due to the intense spinning motion of the lightning chakra in this technique, Chouginga Chidori creates a strong magnetic field, capable of magnetizing metal items that end up in the field. According to Naruto, the Chouginga Chidori in it's current form is still an incomplete jutsu. However, he hasn't spesified what he means by this.
