The Megas Quaestor, or Lord High Chancellor, is a senior and important functionary in the government of Diadochia. He is the second highest ranking of the Great Officers of the Realm, ranking after only the Prōtomagistros. The Megas Quaestor is appointed by the Sovereign on the advice of the Prime Minister. The Megas Quaestor is also the custodian of the Great Seal.
