Ukio was a barren mining planet in the Outer Rim Territories. It was controlled by the Confederacy of Independent Systems during the Clone Wars and later the Galactic Empire. It provided most of he Imperial Remnant's raw materials by 25 ABY. A large battle took place there during the Yuuzhan Vong War.
