In late 2007 he joined former Capcom sound staff members Atsushi Mori (who frequently works with Sugimori), Kento Hasegawa and Masato Kouda in forming DesignWave. Through this company he has written the music for Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective and contributed a track for the Star Onions and the games Vanquish and Otomedius Excellent.
