The Raid on Orleng was an isolated conflict in which pirates in search for valuables staged an attack on the Selena clan home of Orleng. None of the clansmen were prepared for such an attack, and thus were almost annihilated by the savage attack by the pirates. Those who did manage to fight back did so valiantly, using slug throwers against the superior blasters. In the post-mortem, however, most of Orleng was burning and the Selena Clan was almost reduced to nothing.
