The Caves of Kulvir was a location on Vulcan which was situated in the Shi'al province. The caves were on the southern side of the Cheleb-khor desert and consisted of a former vents of an inactive volcano. The area became a popular place for hikers or those that want to do some light exploring on Vulcan. There were several caverns that possessed unusual rock formations and the remains of a former temple that was partially destroyed by the lava. Tours to the region were always led by a guide with at least two people equipped with stunners as the tunnels were known to be used as dens by various desert dwelling creatures.
