The Walking Dead Specials are brief, six page comics that focus on various comic characters before their introduction to the Comic Series. The specials are written by Robert Kirkman and illustrated by Charlie Adlard and Cliff Rathburn, similarly to the Comic Series. So far, their have been two printed Walking Dead Specials out of three, and one Collectors edition. All specials contain the first issue the character appeared in.
