Prime Minister Haku Shoei is a character in the Fushigi Yugi light novel Suzaku Hi Den. He is the prime minister of Konan, and is a parent figure for Hotohori after Motaiko dies. Haku is very warm towards the young emperor, Hotohori, and does everything he can to make him happy. It was mentioned that he was Hotohori's attendant when the boy was twelve years old - Haku was the one who told Hotohori of the legend, and also the sign that he is a celestial warrior.
