In 3,730 BBY, the Confederate Systems of the Unknown Regions invaded the USUR planet Bakura causing the Battle of Bakura. Though in the Outer Rim rather than the Unknown Regions, Bakura was still apart of the United Systems of the Unknown Regions. It was the most populated planet in the USUR. The large population and tactical location was the reason the CS decided to take it.
