Guglielmo Embriaco is a Hero available in the Scenario Editor of Age of Empires II HD: The African Kingdoms. Guglielmo Embriaco is based on a Genoese merchant and military leader who assisted Crusader States in the aftermath of the First Crusade. In the game, Guglielmo Embriaco is represented by a Genoese Crossbowman but with better stats. Like other archer units, Guglielmo Embriaco is affected by all upgrades that affect archers as well as any civilization bonuses that affect them. As with all heroes, Guglielmo Embriaco can self regenerate and cannot be converted.
